New College Library has the following chargers available:

New College Library also has the following adapters available:

Universal travel adapter For international students who require an adapter for British plugs ADA/1
USB Type-C to HDMI adapter To enable readers with MacBooks to connect to the additional monitor in the West Reading Room ADA/2 [for inhouse use within the Library only]
USB Type-C to USB adapter [x2] To enable readers to plug in USB devices (such as keyboards, mice, or DVD drives) into a laptop that only has a USB-C port ADA/3 [for inhouse use within the Library only]

 

 

Unless specified otherwise, all chargers and adapters may be borrowed for three days during term time, and must be returned to the Library Office during staffed hours.  If an item is lost or damaged on return, the Library will charge your Battels to cover our replacement costs.

From the start of Hilary Term 2025, it will only be possible to borrow a charger/adapter for a maximum of twelve days. This policy will ensure that all readers have equitable access to them.
